Never under-estimate how much the common cold can knock you down.
09.12.2010 - 11.12.2010 22 °F
Let's recap (The absolute and total frustration of the common cold)
The past three days have included.....
Zero pool yards.
Zero run miles.
Zero bike miles.
One complete season of 'Bones'
Two pieces of toast, some pretzels and lots of broth.
Three hours of pure bliss spent cleaning, scrubbing and greasing my road bike.
Four boxes of tissues.
Five car-loads of stuff to my new apartment
Six bracelets, wire-wrapped charms and earrings made.
I can't remember the last time I have been sick, especially like this. My skin hurts.
But. Today is the last day. (I've decided. My body has today left to fight this thing to the ground. It will.)
Because tomorrow...I have a run session with Professional triathlete Martha Grinnell (Dynamic Training) to do some evaluating and work on my run technique. Which is going to be so incredibly helpful for this up-coming season, plus she is a really inspirational athlete : )
I've signed up for St. Anthonys Triathlon (Florida) and the Nations Triathlon (Washington DC) which I'm stoked about.
Raffle Winner - The parents of one of my youth group kids, The Morris' were the winners - $389. Hoot Hoot!
Thanks to everyone who bought and/or sold tickets.
In June all the OWLs who sold tickets are coming out watch my Cape Cod race, and then we'll spend the day hanging on the beach!
Quote of the Day:

Here's to Peace, Vitamin C and Miss Deely Dog,
I think I'll go get my front wheel and practice changing flats for time.....is it weird that that would bring me great joy? : )
