SPONSORSHIP & A DRAFT LEGAL RACE

I just received an email from Hammer Nutrition saying that after reviewing mountains of athletic sponsorship proposals they would like to sponsor me for the 2011 triathlon season. AHHHHHH! How exciting!?
I may or may not have danced around my dining room fist pumping the air for a minute...or five.

In the very same afternoon I discovered the one and only age group draft-legal triathlon in the country.
Florida.
March 5th.
This is something that is pretty damn exciting, intimidating and intriguing all at the same time. There are only 75 athletes allowed to register.
Since the professionals all race draft-legal this would be an eye-opening and heart pumping event for me and the potential of my racing goals.
I'll decide within the next day or two whether or not I should go for it. But, let's be real. I'm going to find a way to make it happen and be there.

Pool workouts have felt good. Hit 20:58 for a timed mile.
Spinning has been getting better - interval rides and starting some longer endurance rides.
Running is mind clearing and spirit cleansing, and getting faster.

On the fun side - Lauren and I glittered, glammed and bedazzled our pretty selves up to trek to Worcester for the Phish show. Yet again.
It was awesome. (understatement, yet again.)

The next couple weeks are pretty spuradic - house sitting, cat sitting, working, training, hopefully some skiing and just living life. happily.

Quote of the day:
Training doesn't make anything less hard, but you will get faster.

Goal(s) of the moment:
-Break 20 minutes in a 1650 pool mile.
-3 hour endurance ride/spin on Sunday
